Big Brash Indian
Owner Tariq Salahuddin spent €30,000 to get two cast members of Coronation Street to attend the launch of his grandiose Indian. Everything in here is big; the tables, the chairs, the kitchen and of course, the menu. One of three branches – the others are in Naas and Belfast – it offers a typical array of Indian dishes – and some not so typical – in big portions. Try the duck malai kebab (€17.95): succulent and memorable to the very last forkful. Mohammed Adnan’s signature dish is jumbo prawns in coconut milk and spices (€19.95). You can also get carry-out with the Indie at Home service. Finally, there is a decent (if somewhat safe) Sunday lunch menu at €18.50 for three courses.

Great service. Fresh, healthy, tasty food. Not too expensive.
