Simple idea: fast food with soul. And it works. Organic wraps and nutritious ‘quickies’ appeal to yoga moms, rushing suits and skaters with the munchies. Canteen vibe. Long benches make it easy to chat up yer one with the wheatgrass shot (but not so easy to escape yer man with the spinach in his teeth). Order the Berry Burst smoothie and the Thai green curry wrap (€5.75). All about the vitamins. Uniquely for a fast-food joint, you won’t find anything processed. Bono’s big bro Norman Hewson – “a frustrated helicopter pilot” – is the owner. Norm keeps the U2 boys in food when they’re recording. Not very rock and roll, but still. (By the way, there’s a slightly emaciated Nude in the airport. What’s that about?)

These are popping up everywhere! i never became a fan though. Maybe it's because everyone in the building looks at me like I have ten heads because I prefer coca cola to wheatgrass!

I went to the one in the airport and asked for fresh juice, the guy started pouring from a carton of Squeeze (no kidding!) and I asked if they had anything that wasnt concentrate from a carton and they said no. Granted that was a year ago but it made a bit of a mockery of their whole ethos. And the display in front was made of fresh fruit! the cheek.

Never been one for all this health food business. The staff gave me that look that branded me a pariah, I was one of those blow ins who secretly wanted a burger. Nevertheless I sipped reluctantly at my wheatgrass, clutching my bag in fear of thieves (as was recommended by signs around the restaurant). Had to make a late night stop at Burger King.Won't be back in a hurry.

Feels so very, very 90s, irrelevant today.

If they brought back the proper and old way they used to make their satay sauce for their chicken satay wraps - I would go a lot more often. They spaghetti bolonaise and carbonara are great though - but the satay wrap in there now - is not the proper satay sauce - it used to be perfect!(they did change it four years ago but it still annoys me!)
