Brunch Drunk Love
With great quesadillas comes great responsibility. That’s what Odessa found out when they tried to take the Mexican snack (€13) off their beloved brunch menu. One customer broke down in tears when told it wasn’t available anymore. And while we feel her pain, we’d like to recommend the scrambled egg with chorizo (€10), and from the evening Fivers menu (each dish costs €5), the calamari and chorizo chickpea stew. One of the many things Odessa gets right is attentive but low-key service, perfect for the Sunday hangover but ideal on any other day of the week too. Low-key enough that when Agyness Deyn dropped by, nobody made a fuss. Except us, when she made eyes in our direction. Honest, she did.

consistently good food for many years, the tables downstairs with the comfy armchairs are perfect for a night out with friends, the cocktails are great and the service is always good, and not too expensive!

did you know they've got a great open air bar on the roof terrace now?

I don't understand why this place keeps getting good reviews. The food was unimpressive and the service abysmal - but if you like rude and stuck-up waiters who can't get the bill right this is the place for you. I'm definitely not going back. Ever.
