Culinary Coup
First impressions are not encouraging: there’s the name, the slightly-dodgy-alley location, and the wary looks on arrival. The interior of the tiny dining room – bland cream – is livened up by artwork and decorations in gentle green and gold. The food hasn’t (really) been tamed for Irish tastes. Sharing a platter, I bartered away my share of the prawns for more satay chicken. For mains, the plar nung see yu was particularly good. Pricey enough at dinner. Best at lunch, alone, with a newspaper. Not the sort of place in which one celebrates a birthday. The dining room is too small for public displays of drunkenness. (This, by the way, was the first Thai restaurant Dublin ever had.)

Loved the food and it didn't matter if we were a group of 10 or an intimate dinner for 2, both sets of groups were welcomed and looked after.
