Gorgeous Georges Street
Another stop on the brunch golden mile, this eatery offers the kind of laidback but prompt service that ensures you can bring your trendy mates or your Aunty Betty and both will enjoy it. The fritatta with chorizo, tomato and scallions (€11.45) would leave you wanting more if the portion wasn’t so generous, while the homemade baked beans with pork sausage (€10.95) is a classic. Owner Rachel Clancy runs Soho across the street too – where you can get a two-course lunch for an unbelievable €8.50 – but we’ve often been disappointed with the standards there. Back at B66, groups can gorge on the suckling pig platter (€305 for eight or more people), while trying to avoid Porky’s dead-eye stare.66-67 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2. 400 5878, brasseriesixty6.com
Best value for lunch in 'the zone'.
