Something Fishy
The age of the boozy lunch is over. If the team behind South Dublin’s favourite midday destination is telling us that, it must be true. But every time a door closes, yadda yadda yadda... Uncle Peter and his gang are now open for business on Friday and Saturday evenings too. Hallelujah! Never satisfied, we’d like to issue a plea for weeknights as well. It’s still the freshest seafood in Dublin, it’s still a little pricey, it’s still something fish fans have to experience at least once. The tian of crabmeat, samphire and lemon mayonnaise (€10.95) is tip top. Warning: ring ahead if you want anything other than fish. Visit the posh-nosh deli next door on your way home.
