Mmmm...noooodles
'One visit and you’ll be hooked,” warns the website. Aware of the risk, one enters this spacious, slightly utilitarian ground-floor dining room with a degree of trepidation (who needs another addiction?). It’s usually full of thirtysomething suits on the piss, chuffed with themselves for going Japanese. Those of simple tastes should have the grilled fillet of salmon (€19.75). For a more exotic experience, try the marinated crispy tofu with mango and honey, vegetables and rice (€15.50). Some of the food is surprisingly spicy, the bill often mounts up and it won’t become your regular lunchtime canteen, but Yamamori is a nice start before you explore the pubs of George’s Street. (If, by the way, you prefer to eat late, remember that last orders are at 11.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.)
71-72 South Great George’s Street, Dublin 2. 475 5001
This is not Japanese food. Once you get over that, it's quite a nice place for large groups at their long, communal tables. The quality of the food is erratic to say the least and the service is infuriating at times but if you're all having a good time with a bunch of friends, you mightn't notice that.

Great spot to go with a few people and try different foods. I would consider there are too few "plain" meals on the menu for the less adventurous.
